Skin Pigmentation

As we age, changes in our skin's pigmentation become more evident. These alterations often manifest as age spots, sun spots, melasma, and hyperpigmentation, primarily due to prolonged sun exposure and the natural aging process. The skin's ability to repair and regenerate itself diminishes over time, leading to uneven skin tone and the appearance of discolored patches.

To address these concerns, our new treatment is  available,  tailored to rejuvenate the skin and improve its appearance: Helios Skin Laser Treatment: Skin toning and rejuvenation, Pico Spot Treatment(dark spots, melasma, sun damage, age spots and more), Acne Marks Reduction, Carbon Peel.

Combining 3 complementary wavelength (its solid-state laser resonator enables 1064nm and 532nm nanosecond pulses and 785nm true picosecond pulses), Helios IV 785 involves a combination of treatments designed to address a broad spectrum of pigmentation issues. This  treatment is known for its precision and minimal damage to surrounding skin tissues, resulting in shorter recovery times and effective results. No or minimal damage to Asian skin in particular.

Key differences between Helios and M22:

1. Effectiveness

  • Helios 785™ combines picosecond and nanosecond technologies, utilizing a 785nm picosecond laser and supplemented by 1064nm and 532nm nanosecond lasers for a precise and comprehensive melanin targeting, reaching depths of 3-4mm beneath the skin.

  • M22: As a Intense pulsed light (IPL) technology,  Lumenis M22 OPT device employs a broad spectrum of light, better suited for surface-level pigmentation and telangiectasia, which is less effectiveness on wrinkles.

2. Depth

  • Helios provides precise, deep pigmentation treatment and skin rejuvenation, effectively treating both superficial and deep pigment problems.

  • M22 is effective for milder superficial pigmentation such as freckles and sun damage.

  • The Helios picosecond laser releases energy in a very short period, whereas photon rejuvenation from M22 is relatively mild. Thus, compared to M22, Helios offers more pronounced skin rejuvenation, producing more collagen during the healing process for superior repair outcomes.

3. Anti-aging Benefits

  • In addition to treating hyperpigmentation, Helios stimulates collagen regeneration and has anti-aging benefits.

  • While M22 IPL targets pigmentation and vascular issues, it does not offer the same level of collagen regeneration as Helios. Consequently, Helios achieves deeper freckle removal, more effective whitening, rejuvenation, and the additional benefit of anti-aging.
